My Kodac Gallery
I sometimes do local craft fairs and similar, and if you are in the area, feel free to pop in and view the products in life. A telephone call to say you are coming would be appreciated but not compulsory, but you may find me out if cold calling! I do work from home and started this business so that I could be at home to look after Abbey, who is now 8yrs old.
I am a keen scrapbooker and crafter of various mediums, although they tend to be more paper based these days. I have recently entered into the world of Artist Trading Cards and various other group projects such as Circle Journals. I am a member of a fabulous craft and scrapbooking forum at FaithscrappersUK, please come and take a look. You will be most welcome! I am a dedicated Born Again Christian and this is a lovely way to combine both of my passions - Walking with God and Crafting.
My OLD CRAFTROOM
I have moved home so my crafting space has altered. No longer a dedicated space, but shared with my bedroom. It is taking ages to sort things out but I am getting there! I will update with new pictures soon!
This was my Craft Table, Ribbon drawers, painting and sewing equipment, various tools and punches in drawers behind the table under the window.
My embellishments, Wizard and Sizzix machines, and black shelf houses stamp pads, paints and glues and sticky stuff and white chest of drawers full of collected crafting stuff and projects started. The bags with embellishments and tools are now housed under the craft table as I have moved a rack in this space and put embellishments on it. The pink craft tote is on a revolving table on top of my craft table now.
.
The tall, narrow, drawers are full of rubber stamps, pink boxes of completed cards and my photo albums are on the shelf. I have over 20 12x12 albums, but my scrapbooking is taking a bit of a backshelf just lately. The cupboard next to the tumble drier houses cards and envelopes. The large 12 x 12 cardboard drawers house embellishments.
My "bit" drawers, on top of the large shelf unit where my punches and templates are stored. I use 2 lots of A4 sized cardboard drawers and each labled by colour. Generally after working on a project, I tidy the scraps by colour and put in the drawers. This is my first port of call when I start a project and if I cannot find what I am looking for I then go to the new stuff. Card stock and papers are on top of the pine chest of drawers that has all my momentos and keepsakes from children and trips, just waiting to be scrapped! The broken drawer top space houses scrapbooking stuff. I have seven boxes of punches and the templates and embossing boards are stacked on this shelf unit. (if anyone is wondering what the yellow object hanging from my craft lamp is, it is a fly catcher and all insects and bugs stick to it and so not annoy me in summer, as the light attracts them in abundance. It is surprising how often it has to be changed!)
This is my workspace, I have 3 cutting mats, 1 glass cheeseboard I use as a cutting board and 2 large teflon sheets for stamping and embossing.
